The house is fully immersed in a 500 acre estate with fields and forests and has direct access to a large private rocky beach. It is also near to several beautiful sandy beaches ideal for children. The terrace that surrounds the house has wonderful views of the countryside & is ideal for outdoor family meals. The property is located 20-25 minutes drive from the harbour town of Cuitadella on the north coast of Menorca. Ciutadella is a beautiful historic town with a good selection of restaurants & boutique shops as well as hosting weekly food markets in the main square.

This unique farmhouse is set immersed in a 500 acres private estate with the land reaching down to a private rocky & rounded boulder beach called ‘Pla de Mar’. The facade of the house has three arches and a large terrace surrounds the main building with far reaching views of of the beautiful countryside. The interior is a blend of modern and traditional design with many bedrooms having large wooden four-poster beds and hand woven rugs. The rooms each have their own LCD television with DVD player and satellite receiver. The bathrooms are all modern marble and the kitchen is fully equipped to a high standard. It is a truly special place to spend a holiday and the location is unique. The drive to the farm is 25 minutes from the town of Ciutadella along a lovely rural track. Alfurinet Farmhouse is located 20/25 minutes drive from the historic harbour town of Ciutadella. The town is architecturally very beautiful with a centrally located cathedral and thus it is advisable to conduct a guided tour along the narrow streets to visit the old cathedral and the homes of the aristocrats. In the town you can rent a boat for the day, arrange for a scuba diving lesson, or settle down for a Menorcan lunch on one of the harbour restaurants. The island is also rich in history, offering visitors the opportunity of visiting ancient sacred sites & archaeological museums. Menorca is also great for coastal walking, mountain biking and horse riding. The house is a great base for either of these activities which can be arranged prior to arrival.
