Son Parc is on Menorca’s north coast, a 20 minute drive from Mahon airport. The duplex apartment is next to the island’s only golf course (with tennis courts) and is a short walk from the most beautiful sheltered beach with shallow water and extensive sand dunes. During the high season (May-Oct) all local facilities are open; during the low season (Nov-Apr) Son Parc is tranquil, peaceful and quiet, although restaurants and other facilities are easily accessible in other larger places nearby like the market towns of Es Mercadal, Allaiors and Ferriers. Further away are the main towns of Mahon and Cuitadella. El Toro (highest hill with monastery) overlooks Es Mercadal; ancient burial sites abound. Activities nearby include golf, tennis, pony trekking, swimming/snorkelling/boats and walking.

Golf and tennis on the doorstep.: The apartment shares a large pool with its private neighbours. It is on the golf course (currently 15 holes) which is open all year and also has 2 tennis courts. There is a set of golf clubs in the utility room. It is only a 20 minute flat walk (5 minute car drive) from the beach – clear, shallow water ideal for children, wind surfing and snorkelling. Lovely area for walks. Pony trekking is available nearby.

Locally: Son Parc is small and low key – there is a holiday complex with its own entertainment in Son Parc centre, but the apartment is in a very quiet area. Hiring a car is strongly recommended – anywhere on the island can be reached in less than an hour. Es Mercadal, Ferriers and Allaior (market towns); El Toro (highest hill with monastery); Fornells and Addaia (harbours); Mahon and Cuitdella (main towns); pre-historic settlements and burial places; too many beaches to mention. The golf club is on the doorstep with driving range and tennis courts – it has 15 holes presently and is open all year. Pony trekking is available 5 minutes away by car.

Are you looking for a relaxing family holiday? Then why not stay in my lovely apartment at Ses Anfores, Son Parc? There are two bedrooms (double and twin) and an extra member of the family can be accommodated on a spare bed in the second bedroom. Both bedrooms have air conditioning and ceiling fans installed. The living area opens onto the west facing sun terrace. Here you will find table, chairs, sun beds and sun awning. To eat in or out, the choice is yours. If you choose the former, there are several supermarkets within a few minutes walk – you will find everything else you need in a well-equipped kitchen and the built-in barbecue is on the terrace. Alternatively, there are a number of restaurants within 5 to 10 minutes walk. Shared with other apartments at Ses Anfores, are 2 swimming pools and toddlers’ splash pool surrounded by well maintained gardens. New for 2009 is the ‘Cool Oasis’ water filter which means that there is no need to carry bottled water from the supermarket.

Situated on the north coast of the island, Son Pac is just 25 minutes leisurely drive from the airport. About 5 minutes stroll from the apartment is a beautiful and safe beach with shallow water backed by dunes and pinewoods. A short walk across the headlands will take you to other beaches. Also at Son Parc is the island’s only golf course where visitors are welcome. Here, you will also find a driving range and tennis courts. Bars, restaurants/take away to suit every taste and pocket are within a few minutes walk of the apartments, as are supermarkets and entertainment. There is a daily bus service into Mahon and whilst a car is not necessary I would recommend hiring one for at least some of your stay so that you can explore the island’s many lovely sights. The apartment has its own dedicated parking space and I can put you in touch with a local car hire company who will meet you at the airport.

Notes: A water filter has been installed in the kitchen doing away with any need to carry bottled water from the supermarket. A chiller can be rented for the duration of your holiday. For your comfort we have installed air conditioning in both bedrooms. Bed linen, hand, bath and tea towels are provided – you will only need to take your own beach towels. There are a number of steps up to the apartment and whilst would not suit the infirm, they would pose little problem for the elderly in a good state of health. If you would like to hire a car, this can be arranged for you through a local company who will meet you at the airport.

Relax on a soft sandy beach and enjoy the crystal clear sea close to this two-bedroom apartment in Son Parc on the north coast of Menorca. Kitchen/lounge/diner, 2 bedrooms, sun terrace, bathroom (bath, w/basin, shower & WC). Radio CD & MP3 player, TV and DVD player, Zanussi washing m/c, iron + ironing board, airer/washing line, BBQ, fridge/freezer, dining table and chairs, settee, 2 x single chair/beds, fixed vent air-conditioning in both bedrooms, a portable fan in the lounge and two kidney-shaped swimming pools situated outside. There’s a patio set for four people and four sun-loungers. It is only a three-minute stroll (150 paces) to steps leading down to the beach. However, if you wish to avoid the steps, an alternative gradual incline route is available. Horse-riding is only a 5 min drive away. Bars, restaurants & bike hire are within 5 minutes walk. Son Parc is situated on the north coast of the beautiful island of Menorca. The resort has all the facilities one would want. Bars and restaurants. Nightly entertainment. Golf. Beach bars. Excellent sandy beach with dunes behind. Sheltered bay for safe bathing. Shallow water for young ones to paddle. The apartment is situated in a quiet complex of just 40 apartments which have the benefit of two kidney shaped pools. One of which is situated literally less than a dozen paces from the apartments lockable front door. The island’s only golf course is in Son Parc (18 holes). During May to October (inc) all amenities in the resort and the island are available. During the month of April, Son Parc has restricted amenities, however there are shops, bars & restaurants open in nearby villages/towns and therefore a car is recommended in April. The island of Menorca is a lovely island. The beaches are stunning. The sea is crystal clear. Payment by credit card, via Paypal, is accepted.

* If your holiday period cover two different rental rates, then pro-rata rates will be applied (i.e. divide each weekly rate by 7 then multiply by the no of nights in each rental rate period. A £100.00 deposit is required upon booking with the balance to be paid 8 weeks before departure. Any bookings made within 8 weeks of the chosen departure date must be paid for in full. The course is situated only a 5 minute drive, or a thirty minute walk, from the apartment. The course has recently been extended from 14 holes to 18 holes. There is also a golf driving range as well as tennis courts. The clubhouse at the golf club boasts a superb bar and restaurant.

Walking: There are some superb walks to be had in Menorca. Details can be found in the Welcome Book which awaits you on your arrival at the apartment.

Swimming: The apartment complex boasts two kidney shaped swimming pools. In addition, the local beach provides excellent safe bathing in crystal clear water which is superb for snorkelling.
